Our boards started life as a slab, cut to make a table and they’re on the thicker side. 1.5-2” and they’re hard woods, cut from trees and will have natural defects, and other characteristics that come from reclaimed wood. We don’t shy away from that, we help these so called “imperfections” shine, showing mother natures work and  the story of the life the tree has lived. We use food grade mineral oil and our house made butter.(local bees wax, pure shea butter, mineral oils and citrus mineral spirits). For best results, please oil your boards thoroughly until water beads off of them and top it off with the Blacklumberjack house blend board butter. Available sold separately on our site.
